ALP is implemented as an Asynchronous Pluggable Protocol. It acts like a WEB server but without need of network. It executes WEB applications such as ASP pages and CGI applications. ALP makes Internet Explorer to be server and client. With ALP you can write stand-alone desktop applications, CD-ROM autoruns, use ASP for pure desktop software and still keep your code ready to run on WEB servers too.

We are doing WEB for our clients and some of the ideas are result of our needs and attempts to resolve some problems permanently.

What it means ?

Everyone knows what is ISAPI filter, but what is WEB engine ?

Our WEB engines are WEB application frameworks for specific targets. There are tasks like shopping carts, profile centers that can be resolved with complete application, but if you want to build a site very similar to a typical conception you will need to write all scripts from the beginning. WEB engines are the solution - frameworks for small/middle corporative sites, frameworks for user services etc.
